DEADLINE FOR THE 2011 APPLICATION HAS NOT BEEN SET YET
Dispursement of funds will happen at the 2011 Coronation in September.

The Imperial Sovereign Court of the State of Montana (ISCSM) is pleased to offer the I.S.C.S.M. Rosalinda de la Luna Scholarships
for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and straight allied communities. These scholarships are to honor and promote
academic excellence among present and potential students (returning students, and high school graduates/GED). The scholarships are
a minimum of $500 and a minimum of two shall be awarded for the Academic Fall year. Students must be enrolled full time in a post
secondary institution of higher education seeking a Certificate, Associates, or Bachelor Degree in the State of Montana for twelve 12
credits or more to be eligible. Applicants must provide proof of residency in the State of Montana.

Preference is given to students who self identify as GLBTI, or straight allies who have been strongly supportive of the GLBT
community.

Recipients of the awards will be required to present a 2 to 4 minute speech in September at the ISCSM Coronation event. The
publication of name and photo of award recipients will be used for recognition of award in publications.

Awards will be made on the basis of:

Leadership, accomplishments, and potential.

• Personal attitude, enthusiasm, and goals stated in essay.
• Financial Need.
• RECENT Letters of Recommendation (Must be less than 6 months old).
• Proof of Montana Residency.
• Grade Point Average.
• Letter of Acceptance to a Montana institution of higher education,
• Appearance of application (typed).
• Volunteerism, leadership and activism in the GLBTI community of Montana.
  
  

*Scholarship awards will be distributed in one lump sum after verification of enrollment unless otherwise specified.

Applicants will be notified early August confirming whether they have, or have not, been selected.
